It has been almost one full year since the arrival of the two “On Wings of Eagles” cadets, Ryan Armenta and Wesley Jones. These two young men came to us through the Air National Guard “Youth Challenge” program and sponsorship of the “On Wings of Eagles Foundation” to reach their goals in aviation. While on campus they received their Private Pilot, Instrument and Commercial Multi licenses, earning their ‘wings’ and giving them the foundation to begin to soar toward their aviation goals. Aviation Academy Welcomes 18 New Hires | November 20, 2008
It is take off time for 18 new hires of TransPac Aviation Academy, based at the Deer Valley Airport. On Nov. 17 the new hires started their new jobs, in the role of certified flight instructors (CFIs) for the academy’s 450 students, and thus keeping the overall ratio of students to instructors at 4 to 1.
